I concluded ages ago that I am not the romantic type. However, when Janki invited us to her wedding, I had to put aside my fear of luvy duvy couples and attend for three very clear reasons: One, Janki and Ashish are dear friends. Two, it was my first Indian wedding to attend and three, I loooooove Indian food!
The hall was vibrantly decorated…
After the ceremony we got a chance to mingle. I may have been fascinated by the mountain of fruits on the dessert table. The food was vegetarian and pretty delicious 🙂
Later there was a photo shoot for both families.
Alvaro, Lina, Alexandra and I had a brief but great time with the bride and groom.
It got emotional towards the end when the bride had to leave her old family for the new one…
We wish them all the best 🙂
I bumped into Sean Ross two weekends ago when I went to Naivasha for a birthday BBQ. Sean is the charming force behind Fisherman’s Camp in Naivasha. The campsite is known for its stunning view of Lake Naivasha, affordable accommodation, the annual Rift Valley Festival and now Paintball Fury.
Here is more information on the upcoming paintball tournament on December 8th and 9th and some pictures from the last competition courtesy of Fisherman’s Camp…
