The girls and I (plus a few friends) went off on holiday Monday last week. I wandered off earlier to check up on X in Mombasa. We all linked up in Voi on Monday at Manyatta Camp.
Manyatta is a tented camp located within Voi Wildlife Lodge. Each tent has its own private pool.
Upon entering the tent, you come across a workspace, with the bathroom on your right and the shower on your left.
The restaurant area is strategically located above a stream overlooking Tsavo National Park. We were lucky enough to see a herd of elephants re-hydrating while we had dinner one evening…
We went for two game drives in a convoy. Below are a few pictures from the drive…
The landscape in Tsavo is just as stunning….
We also visited Lugards Falls which is within Tsavo East National Park
From the jungle we made our way to the bewitching Diani beach (South Coast) where we stayed at Afrochic.
We were welcomed by traditional swahili dancers..
I fell in love with my room, thanks to Stefan 🙂
Afrochic has the best service in all of Diani. The food was divine, especially the lobster and the mixed sea food platter.
We headed out for dinner on Friday evening to Ali Barbour’s Cave…
What followed from here on was loads of drinking, dancing, skinny-dipping and sunbathing 🙂 It was a fabulous holiday!
